Many other Child Welfare Association from around the world have realised of the importance of raising awareness on the problem of child pornography and they want to collaborate on the fight against it from their own countries. As a consequence, some of them have decided to set up joint hotlines in collaboration with PROTEGELES. They want to offer to the Internet users from their county a place where they can report illegal content. PROTEGELES has already set up several joint hotlines together with Latin-American hotlines from Peru, Costa Rica and Argentina.

Nowadays, we are working with some institutions from the Dominican Republic to set up another joint hotline with them.

The striking increase in the last months is due to the broadcasting in several Latin-American countries of some pieces of news concerning PROTEGELES? activities and campaigns against illegal content on Internet.
PROTEGLES keeps a very special relation with ACPI (Action against Child Pornography) as we share a common origin and sometimes, we share volunteer personnel. They always meet in all forums on Child protection and the ICT and we even launch campaigns together. Other Child Welfare associations with whom PROTEGELES shares activities and who have signed the agreements promoted by PROTEGELES are UNICEF and Save the Children.
Furthermore, PROTEGELES keeps a constant contact with all the organisation members of the INHOPE.
